Kranjska Gora, Slovenia (19–21 Sept 2025) — The Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB returned with four headline distances and a truly international field. Across alpine meadows, forest singletrack, and rocky ridgelines, runners battled long climbs and fast descents with the iconic peaks of the Julian Alps as a backdrop. Below are the official podiums for the 120 km, 80 km, 50 km, and 25 km races, plus quick notes from the weekend.
Weekend Highlights
- International podiums: Winners came from Romania, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, and more — a showcase of European trail depth.
- Range of challenges: From the all-day grind of the 120 km to the speedy, technical efforts over 25–50 km, athletes needed both climbing gears and fast legs.
- Festival vibe: Kranjska Gora’s start/finish atmosphere kept energy high as finishers arrived all day and late into the night.
120 km — I Feel Slovenia Ultra Trail
Big vertical and long, runnable sections defined the flagship ultra. Romania’s Robert Hajnal set the standard under 14 hours, while Germany’s Miria Meinheit led the women convincingly.

Circling the mountains above Lake Bled, the 80 km blended runnable valleys with steeper alpine pitches. Poland’s Karol Sioła and Germany’s Juli Brüning topped deep fields.
